Candidate account -- how MMD Steel Group uses your data

MMD Steel Group operates this careers portal to recruit for its own companies. When you create an account we process your email address, your password (stored only as a hash) or your Google sign-in identifier, the country you select, and technical records of your sign-ins, in order to authenticate you, keep your account secure, and write to you about your account and applications. We keep this data while your account exists and for as long as we must retain records of a recruitment decision afterwards. You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data, for corrections, to object to processing, or to close your account, from the Privacy page inside the portal or by writing to hr@fabrimetal.net.

CV and documents -- how they are stored and used

Documents you upload (CV, certificates, and any files you attach) are scanned for malware, stored encrypted, and read to build your candidate profile and to consider you for openings you apply to. Text extracted from your CV is used to fill your profile fields and to support matching. Our recruiters and the hiring managers for the openings you apply to can see these documents. They are not sold, and they are not shared outside MMD Steel Group except with a recruitment agency already engaged on the specific opening you applied to. AI-assisted matching happens only if you separately opt in. You can remove a document from your profile at any time; where we must keep a copy for a recruitment record we stop using it for matching.

AI-assisted matching -- what you are consenting to

If you opt in, the text of your profile and CV is compared against published openings by an AI model to produce an advisory match score with a short written rationale. The score ranks what you are shown and helps a recruiter prioritise; it never decides an application on its own, and a person always reviews before any hiring step. You can withdraw this consent at any time, which stops future AI ranking immediately and hides existing scores from recruiters. Withdrawing does not remove your application or your account.

Opening alerts -- what we send and how to stop it

If you create an alert we use your verified account email to tell you about newly published openings that match the filters you saved, at the frequency you choose. We send nothing else to that address for marketing purposes. You can pause, edit or delete an alert in the portal, or use the one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email.
